Second Generation Firm
In 2008 Sharon’s sons, Rob and Shane, joined the company to serve as second generation Owners. Sharon stayed on for a few years to oversee design. She is now enjoying retirement with the occasional foray into helping design for some of Woods jobs! Rob Woods now serves as the sole owner of the firm.
“I am grateful to have been born and raised in Santa Fe along with my older brother and younger sister. We are blessed and honored to have been able to grow up alongside the Woods brand. The employees, subcontractors and clients have always felt like our extended family. The company’s office was a second home. Every milestone event growing up was filled with Woods employees and clients. Our parents instilled in us how important it is to take care of people and take pride in what you do.
As a second generation owner, I have a deep level of commitment to continue and expand the Woods legacy. I know to have a successful company you have to take care of your clients, employees and subcontractors. I consider it an honor to create hearth and home for our clients and I am passionate about ensuring not only that they are satisfied but their expectations are exceeded.
Raising my own children now in this wonderful community, I feel the importance of instilling the same set of values in them that my parents instilled in us as kids. I want them to be proud of the company that bears their name, as we did growing up, and understand the importance of making sure Santa Fe remains the magical place it is.
