Glow Luna Sol at the Botanical Garden
December 16 – January 1 (closed Dec 24 & 25)
Open Nightly: 5 – 8 p.m. Last entry at 7:30pm
Location: Santa Fe Botanical Garden
Don’t miss the Glow, an artful illumination of nature at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden. There will be activities for kids, Santa, festive beverages, and entertainment!
Native Nacimiento Sets
November 29 – January 7
Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Adobe Gallery 505-955-0550
Join in on the Adobe Gallery’s holiday tradition of exhibiting Nacimientos (nativities) created by local New Mexico Pueblo potters. This style of folk art pottery features a Native American twist on the Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Holiday Small Works Show
December 2-16
Location: Manitou Galleries Downtown
This free festive show celebrates Santa Fe’s winter beauty and features Manitou Gallery artists. Exhibits include fine miniature pieces perfect for holiday gift giving or to keep for your own personal collection.
The Nutcracker Presented by the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet
December 17-18
This show is great for family and children of all ages and features many different types of dance: ballet, flamenco, Chinese ribbon dance, and an aerialist. The cast is made up of 60 highly-skilled dancers, circus artists, and actors that will help create an unforgettable show sure to liven your holiday spirit.
Santa Fe’s Farolito Walk on Canyon Road
December 24
The Canyon Road Farolito Walk is one of Santa Fe’s most beloved holiday traditions. Thousands walk this famous path on Christmas Eve to admire the small, illuminated, sand-filled paper bags with votive candles along the historic neighborhood streets and adobe walls. Many of the streets stores and galleries remain open during the walk. The event is free and everyone is welcome.
